Planning and cost optimization of electric power generated at NPP to be in the focus of “ATOMEXPO 2014”

A roundtable Planning and cost optimization of electric power generated at NPP on designing and construction stages will be held in the framework of the 6th International Forum “ATOMEXPO”.

The merged company JSC NIAEP – JSC ASE (Atomstroyexport) became the initiator of this roundtable.

In the course of discussion, the roundtable participants will consider the ways for cost optimization of energy generated at NPP, kWh cost evaluation methods, details of legal and regulatory framework in China, and the need to adjust the integrated offer on term/price/quality ratio for customers.

Besides specialists from State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM, the roundtable is expected to be attended by representatives from the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Federal Tariff Service, as well as public, scientific, educational and commercial organizations, including EDF, FSUE Russian Energy Agency, Rosenergoatom Concern OJSC, Beijing Institute of Nuclear Engineering, etc.

The 6th International Forum “ATOMEXPO 2014” will take place on 9-11 June 2014 in Moscow, in Gostiny dvor. State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM is the organizer of the Forum. Within five years of its history, the “ATOMEXPO” Forum became one of key international events that hosts discussion of the most topical issues of nuclear energy sector and forms the trends for its future development.

The Forum has first been held in 2009 in Moscow. The jubilee 5th International Forum “ATOMEXPO 2013”, which took place on 26-28 June 2013 in Mikhaylovsky manezh in St. Petersburg, gathered over 2 000 participants from 42 countries of the world. About 800 delegates from 275 organizations delivered presentations and reports at roundtables and sectional sessions, which were devoted to the most topical themes in nuclear energy sector. Representatives from several countries attended the Forum for the first time – e.g. from Angola, Belgium, Zambia, Yemen, Indonesia, Lebanon, and Pakistan. A range of strategic important international agreement has been signed at the Forum, in particular, the cooperation agreement in nuclear sphere between the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM and foreign companies and public authorities. The work of the Forum was actively covered by representatives of Russian and foreign mass media. 153 exponent companies took part in the Exhibition “ATOMEXPO 2013”.
