Forum ATOMEXPO-2014 will discuss best practices of internal controls and audit
At the VI International Forum ATOMEXPO 2014 June 9 the round-table session “Internal Controls and Audit. Best Practices” will be held. Moderators will be Alexander Loktev, Director for Internal Controls and Audit at ROSATOM, and Tatiana Elfimova, Deputy CEO for Government Relations and Budgeting, State Secretary at ROSATOM.
The round-table session will merge four discussion sections, which participants will be leading experts and specialists of the internal controls and audit system. Alexander Loktev will elaborate on experience in building up an efficient internal controls system in the nuclear industry. Also, the discussion sections participants will have an opportunity to familiarize with practices of internal control in ROSATOM’s organizations, Russian NPPs and foreign nuclear power plants, such as Akkuyu. Other speakers of the round-table session will include representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Russia and the Federal Service for Financial and Budget Supervision of Russia who will provide details on interaction of external and internal controlling and supervising authorities.
The round-table session will pay special attention to best international practices of organizing control and audit. The discussion participants will have a look at internal controls capabilities through case studies of Finland, China and Ukraine.
