Dear participants and guests of ATOMEXPO 2014 Forum! Nowadays nuclear power engineering is a prerequisite for stable and safe operation of the world energy system. It is of particular importance for countries with emerging economies, as many of them are characterized with a lack of resources.

Issues of nuclear power development in the context of the current economic situation will be reflected in the agenda of ATOMEXPO 2014 Forum. It meets for the sixth time already, and over the years it has become a representative international stage, that gives professionals from different countries an opportunity to exchange opinions on the widest range of topics: from the role of nuclear power generation in energy systems of various countries to modern requirements to security systems and their potential estimated value.
